”Local currencies can increase the sustainability” – A Real Market Economy 30th of May
”The system we are living in now is completely unsustainable”. Anna Borgeryd, chairman of Polarbröd, stated this in the introductory speech during the seminar A Real Market Economy – what would it take? 30th of May, organized by Global Challenge and Polarbröd. Laureates of the Utstickar Award, Margrit Kennedy and Bernard Lietaer, discussed the need for monetary reform. Comments were given by Anders Wijkman, senior advisor and former EU-parliamentarian and John Hassler, professor of economics at Stockholm University. Sandro Scocco, chief economist at Global Challenge, led the discussions.
