Climate seminar in Berlin: "We need to get up from our easy chairs"
“We need to get up from our easy chairs. What we really need is an “Energy fitness club”. A community that is attractive and a community where one wants to be a member.” This was said by Professor Hans Joachim Schellnhuber, director of The Potsdam Institute on Climate Change, during the presentation of Global Challenge’s The Davos Climate/Energy Brief at the Swedish Embassy in Berlin on January 17th.
The seminar, a part of the international road show by Global Challenge, attracted some 40 participants from German industry, think tanks and media.
Allan Larsson introduced The Davos Climate/Energy Brief, an initative that was applauded by Hans Joachim Schellnhuber VD för The Potsdam Institute, as well as Toumo Hattaka, former head of Vattenfall Europe.
